and this metric is the amount of money the advertiser pays to google for the visitor that comes from a google AdSense ad basically that's what the advertiser sort of what the company is paying to get the traffic from you as a publisher to their website to make them buy stuff more or less and it is google that is getting this cpc amount of money the other important uh metric to understand is the revenue share metric which is a percentage and it's the percentage of money that you as a publisher will get from google for the clicks or visits coming from your assets that are displaying these ads uh and the sort of the cat that you're getting varies from the platform that you're putting your ads on so sorry for example if you're doing basic content websites are having like informational articles uh you or at least me I'm getting currently from one of my AdSense accounts I'm getting 68 of the revenue get that is generated from these clicks so if I'm placing if I'm having an ad that is having a cpc of 100 dollars.
